Four new movies
We've added four new movies to our Nunsploitation film database.
Devils in the Convent, Mother Joan of the Angels, Sinfornia Erotica, and the True Story of the Nun of Monza.
Nunsploitation fans should especially be interested in Jerzy Kawalerowicz's Mother Joan of the Angels. It is a Polish classic based on the same story as Ken Russell's The Devils.
Also of interest is Bruno Mattei's True Story of the Nun of Monza. It seems like a decade can't go by when a nunsploitation film about the Monza story isn't made. Although the title claims that this the "true story", it is perhaps the most exploitative of all the monza remakes.
Finally, Sinfornia Erotica is the work of nunsploitation veteran Jess Franco.

A Good Old Naughty review

Mark Zimmer of Digitally OBSESSED has written a review of The Good Old Naughty Days. It's a video anthology collecting some of the earliest example of video pornography with short films dating back to the early 20th century.
The collection includes two of the earliest examples of nunsploitation -- Mr. Abbot Bitt at Convent (1925) and Homework (1920).

We've created a new section of the site for news on upcoming nunsploitation films. Two films, one in pre-production and one in post-production, have already been added to the new database.

SEVEN new movies!
We've been working over time through the weekend. We've got seven new database entries for you:
First off, in our sleazy nunsploitation category, we bring you Black Narcissus, Desecration, the Good Old Naughty Days, and the Peeping Nun.
Black Narcissus is probably one of the finest nunsploitation movies made and it's about time it's found it's way into our database. Desecration, also a fine flick, is one of the newest additions to the genre. On the other end of the spectrum, Good Old Naughty Days captures the earliest nunsploitation films in its collection of turn of the century naughtiness. (Not this turn of the century, the one before it. )
If you're looking for something more erotic, we've got three new entries in our Nunerotica section: Sleepy Head, a classic 1970s porn film, and The Secrets of Sao Paulo 2 & 3, two transexual pornos.
That's a lot of updates! We've still got some reviews to sift through. Hopefully, we'll have a few up by tomorrow.

Updates resume
Our apologies for the lack of updates since July. However, Nunsploitation.net is back online with news, reviews, and erotica.
Fallen Templar's mailbox was attacked by a spammer in our absence. As a result, we've had to delete his inbox from the server so he could access his mail again. Any e-mail sent to him between mid-September and late November has been deleted. If you have any requests or comments about his Usenet postings, please send them again. We're very sorry this happened. We really wanted to save your e-mails!
We've got a ton of news for you and we'll try to get that out as quickly as possible as we update the site.

New flick
Horror producer Brian Yuza (Re-Animator, Faust) is working on a new nunsploitation flick. The Nun is scheduled for a 2004 release. In short, the film is about a cruel nun who returns from the dead to get revenge on the boarding school girls who killed her. Lions Gate has signed up for the U.S. distribution rights. No information on the cast is available yet, but we'll keep you updated. |

Gun-toting anime nun
We've been working on a comics section for nunsploitation comic books, manga and graphic novels. It'll be a while yet before that's up, but anime fans should know about Chrno Crusade.
It's the story of Rosette Christopher, a gun-toting nun who exorcises demons in 1920s New York. Following the success of the manga, the anime started broadcast November 24 on Fuji TV in Japan. |

All this just in time for the Media Blasters DVD release of Emmanuelle and the Last Cannibals, starring Laura Gemser and directed by nunsploitation veteran Joe D'Amato.
Cannibals will be available on DVD on Tuesday, June 24.

D'Amato Emmanuelle DVD release
Joe D'Amato, director of nunsploitation movies Images in a Convent and Convent of Sinners and Laura Gemser who played Emmanuelle in nunsploitation flick Sister Emmanuelle (AKA Emmanuelle in a Convent or Suor Emmanuelle) team up in Emmanuelle and the Last Cannibals. The 1986 movie is getting the DVD treatment from Media Blasters on June 24.
On a related note, we've added D'Amato's Convent of Sinners to our nunsploitation movie database.
