Asia Noir 2 works a little around Lucy Lee, the Asiantrix. Sometimes she takes a controlling form in the scene, and other times she sits on the outside of it looking in. It's a loose idea, and might be part of a bigger picture.

Scene 1 - Jay LoDeeva, Lucy Lee, Kohl Myna, and Sledge Hammer
Jay starts things out tied to a wooden post in a latex nun's outfit while Kohl and Sledge wait and watch wearing black masks and Lucy wears a black and red kimono and long red gloves. She strokes the guys as Jay watches and then drops down to blow them, starting with Kohl. Lucy moves over to kiss Jay and then pushes her down so that she can give each of the guys a hummer. After helping her a little, Lucy strips Jay out of her outfit, spanks her ass, and then moves her to her knees so she can watch while she takes on both guys. I think some of it is DAC's camera work, which is nicely artistic while still having a kind of primal feel to it. It works very well here, and helps this to become a very good scene.

Scene 2 - Chai Sun and Mr. Marcus
Chai starts out the second scene playing piano while wearing a latex nurse's outfit. The music keeps going in the background as things switch to Chai helping Marcus to get cleaned up in a bubble bath. I also like how well this scene captures bathtub sex. There's plenty of splashing and things don't always look extremely easy due to the water. The camera work is a little rough at times, but with the job Chai and Marcus do here that's really easy to overlook. This is a darn hot scene despite the lackluster facial at the end.

Scene 3 - Maja Lee, Mr. Marcus, and Tiger Wood
Things take a much more Japanese feel again as Maja lee walks through a garden wearing a red and gold kimono and holding a fan. Scene 4 - Bamboo, Lucy Lee, and Guy DaSilva

This is a fairly average scene. I was really looking forward to this scene, and although they all did a nice job I had a really hard time getting into it. The scene is a bit more artistic and slightly odd, and Lucy and Guy's changing back and forth just didn't work for me. Bamboo looks great, as always, but the scene just never grabbed me.

Scene 5 - Bamboo, Lucy Lee, and Mr. Marcus
Lucy leads Bamboo to Marcus' door on a leash. When he opens the door, she attacks him, forcing him on his back on the staircase where she starts sucking his cock. After watching a few moments, Lucy moves up to ride Marcus' tongue and then watches again as they move into another room for Bamboo to suck more cock. For a group scene to really work for me, I want to see everybody looking like they're into everybody else, and I didn't get that feeling here. The girls do work back and forth with Marcus pretty good, but there isn't a lot of chemistry here. The action also isn't driving enough to make up for it and neither is the pop. It's an okay scene, just nothing too special.

Asia Noir 2 is an okay porno. It does a nice job of pairing different looking Oriental girls with a nice selection of black guys (as well as Portugese Guy DiSilva). As usual, DAC has a nicely artistic look at things, and sometimes it worked for me and sometimes it didn't. It's often a little rough, and while there were times it didn't work for me there were also times when I thought it fit the scenes perfectly. The early scenes in the movie worked much better for me than the later scenes, mostly because I thought they had a bit more chemistry. Lucy Lee does a nice job throughout the movie and does an okay job holding the movie together, but I think Chai Sun had the best scene in the movie with her bathtub fuck with Mr. Marcus. Asia Noir 2 is an okay movie, but it didn't come close to the high expectations I had for it.

The Extra Stuff

The photo shoot featurette lasts about eleven and a half minutes. There's plenty of sex talk with Lucy Lee, including a few minor demonstrations. Sledge and Bamboo also get a little talking time, but not nearly as much as Lucy. DAC also gets a few words in about Video Team. There's also plenty of footage of the photos being shot that's set to music. It's a nice little featurette that's both sexy and fun.

The behind the scenes featurette also lasts about eleven minutes. It starts with a bit of Maja's scene before jumping around through the other days. You get to see a little of the scenes being shot, a little screwing around on the set waiting to see if Kohl will ever pop, and a few of the things that can go wrong shooting a movie. Lucy Lee is definitely the star of the behind the scenes featurette, and adds plenty of humor and spirit to it. It's an okay behind the scenes featurette, and not too bad for the length of the featurette.

The Technical Stuff

Music: The music varies from scene to scene. Some of it has a very Oriental feel to it, and it always works for the scene. Unlike most scenes, the music comes and goes throughout the scene. This helps it to stand out a bit more and strengthens both the music and the movie.

Disc Complaints: There's phone sex and website crap before the main menu that you can't skip. You can fast forward through it, thankfully, but you can't skip it. Even more annoying is that if you don't make a selection in the main menu in about thirty seconds, the disc stops and you have to go through all that shit again. This definitely doesn't put me in a good mood when I start watching any DVD, and I'm thankful that Video Team has stopped this practice on their current releases.

Menus: The menus are pretty good. The main menu, when you finally get to it, gives a good first impression with some nice animation. The chapter menu is very generic and just lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene.

The Down -n- Dirty Sex Stuff

The Bottom Line:
Currently, many Video Team DVDs can be found online for between $15 and $25 with stores offering them everywhere in between. I'd rent this one first. It didn't work for me nearly as well as the first installment, and if you like it I think it'll have a lot of repeat value. The technical aspects are nicely done and there's some nice effort put into the extras. This is a nicely put together DVD.

Note to Video Team: Thank you for putting the extra effort into your DVDs. It seems a lot of people look you by, and the only reason I can see them doing so here is because of the crap you forced people to go through to get to the main menu.
