And while Ninn composed a great soundtrack, I'm just not a fan of musicals. Although Ninn says it's not a musical, I would classify it as such.

I have always been impressed with Michael Ninn flicks, but Cashmere blew me away! From the go-go girl wigs, to the peachy skin tones, to the high-pitched voiceovers, Ninn's attention to detail escalates his films beyond porno. The lighting, camerawork, makeup, provide for perfect bodies from inner thigh to ball sack to butt hole. You tend to forget which star is which because they become so much a part of this other time and place (not to mention the wigs, makeup and costumes.)

After every sex scene the girls play with cum like it's taffy. Go-go girls Vicca and Nikita take Tyce Bune to neon heaven where he shoots his cum all over a bubbly, water-filled pole. The go-go girls (dressed as twins) then lick the cum off the pole and kiss until all the cum is swallowed. ñPurr, baby, purrî whisper the radio girls.

Never before have I seen tongues twist cum like candy. This trip is well-worth the ticket price and I haven't even gotten to the DVD iteself.

The DVD: The image and sound quality is excellent. The menus are really gorgeous (and easy-to-use.) The layout of the pictures on the cast features fit with the visual theme of the movie (more fun to look at than the photo gallery.)

DVD Extras:
Director's Commentary: Michael Ninn and Kylie talk about how the movie was borne and how great it came out. It's interesting to learn that Ninn views some of his movies as made for particular contract girls: e.g. Cashmere is his essay on Kylie, Ritual on Vicca, Fade to Blue on Juli Ashton. Admittedly, the commentary did not hold my attention. Cast: Brief interviews with Kylie, Vicca and Nikita (nothing exciting.)
