The Halfway House

Check out this European version of The Halfway House movie trailer! It's neat to see what a completely different take on the film Shoreline Entertainment has chosen to showcase overseas. The film seems darker and scarier. The light-hearted goofiness is gone. Most obvious, and disappointing, all of the nun elements are taken out. Even though she's the biggest name in the film, Mary Woronov only appears for a split second, and even then she is in her priestess outfit.
This is kind of weird and we think Shoreline is underestimating its audience. The nunsploitation element would likely be a bigger boost rather than a drag to the film's sales. Of course, we're biased that way! Only time will tell how international sales compare to the U.S. In the meantime, enjoy the trailer!
