Synopsis: Soeur Sourire returns to the unexpected rise to fame of Jeannine Deckers who was promised international success with her song Dominque which sold two million albums in 1963. It tells the moving story of a woman who, despite her doubts, was filled with enthusiasm in her search for love. The end is less happy. Held responsible for taxes owed for Dominique, Deckers fell into deep depression and ultimately committed suicide with her partner, Annie Pecher.
